Distraction

If I'm not such a corporate whore, I could have been in Taipei over the weekend for THIS!!! Argh!!

All I can do is console myself with Faye's 2003 HK concert CD, which I'm sure I have contributed my screams there! FAYYYYYEEEEEEE!!

Fave tracks from the album include the bossa nova remixed "Only Love Strangers"...wooo it sounds so great with the cello! And Faye changed the way she sang it too, which makes the combination nothing short of magical! And the Goddess's rendition of Blondie's "Heart of Glass" makes me crave for a fabulous punk hairdo that I can boogie with...somehow the way she said "...pain in the ass..." sounds so innocent yet strangely divine...Grooovy baby! And her "Look of Love" simply makes me melt...mmmm...Radically different from her usual rock style for "Bored", the concert arrangement had it sounding very dance, kinda like Madonna's Vogue??

Gosh I so wish I can see her live again! And again! And again!

The next date marked on the Fayenatic's Calendar is 3 Dec - release of HK concert DVD!! whoopeee!!

(hmm wondering if there's a calendar thingy i can put up on the blog so I can post some kinda "HEADS UP!" for exciting events coming our way??)
