At the risk of sounding really LCD (lowest common denominator - a phrase used to describe something that panders to the masses and has little artistic/snob value, e.g. "I don't like to watch B films cos they are so LCD!"), I think the 3 contestants who must remain in Singapore Idol are Olinda, Sylvester and Leandra.

Subconsciously, I'm trying to skip 2005. I keep thinking next year is 2006. When i was buying the cute SPCA calendar today, I asked why they were selling the 2005 one when this year is almost over. They gave me a strange look and I stopped myself, paid hastily and left.
Mental blocking - a self-defense mechanism. I am in a crisis mode because next year I hit the Big Tree and I'm scared. I've been depressed since July. Every woman I know say they go through this, which is good to hear but while you're still waiting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, this dispairing darkness seem to give you no relief. I just want to get it over with. Maybe that's why I look forward to 2006. Or 2046?

2046 next week! 2046 next week! yaay! Those darn websites aren't even opening it for booking!! What the heck!! It opens next Thursday and they dun let us book yet?! Why are they so darn inefficient?!
Think I'll watch "In the Mood for Love" again before catching 2046!

I've turned into a Laneige junkie. This is the 3rd time this month I've gone to the counter at Isetan Wisma to clean out their stock of skincare products...their freebies are tempting and their products are really great!! My sister, too, has turned into a Laneige junkie...we discuss so much about Laneige during her Saturday coming-home-for-lunch visits that we are probably qualified to become Laneige's sales promoters. Why do I love it so?
1. It absorbs into the skin really well
2. It's oil-free! (except for the oil-based makeup remover which was the first thing I ever bought from them...and it doesn't only remove makeup, it unclogs pores too!)
3. It smells nice n pure, with no artificial frangrances
4. It does make the skin look and feel great
5. It's reasonably affordable
6. They pack in more quantity than other stingy cosmetic brands (eye cream 30 ml, essences 50 ml, moisturisers 110 ml)
7. Their Water Sleeping Pack is a true miracle!
