I miss the cats...
It's been so many weeks since Pouty or any of the cats along the road appeared...someone must have caught them and killed them. But why? Pouty is spayed already, she is clean and is hardly a nuisance, she sleeps most of the time in our front yard...guess whoever wanted her caught just doesn't want any cats around, spayed or not. Well I don't like to see the Ah Peks in Chinatown drooling over the girls from the Mainland, but why doesn't anyone round THEM up?
Now that they are painting the backyard, Oreille Noire and her brood have not shown up for days. Too many strangers lounging around I guess. I just hope they won't disappear either.
Poutykat, wherever you are, please don't think badly of us humans. Not all of us are so arrogant as to assume that granting you life or death is our liberty. If you are in Cat Heaven, please do think of me. My shins miss your rubbing. If you managed to escape, I hope there are kind people around you who will love you as I do.
