Deus Ex 2 published...
...and they took out all my complaints and criticisms of this game and left in only the positive bits!! So much for journalistic intergrity...
Here's the censored material:
"However, DX2 has a fair share of problems. My main gripe is the intrusive heads-up display (HUD). Two arcs one for Health, the other for Energy, are flanked by the Toolbelt and Biomod displays, which obscure the main gaming screen. Another problem is the levels are relatively small but yet one is frequently interrupted with the loading of maps. Granted, the loading time is not that long but it seems unnecessary especially since it happens after every few steps.
Even with the latest patch (version 1.2), DX2 has a multitude of glitches occasionally, items like multitools cannot be stacked in a single slot, which is a real problem since its inventory is limited to only 12 slots. Also, some polygons or parts of characters do not show up properly at times, making for some truly freak show moments.
Compared to the original, DX2 is more simplified in terms of gameplay, with simpler RPG elements and one-fits-all ammunition. The story, although greater in scope, is also more far-fetched and less engaging."
It's not that negative, is it?
