The best non-violent, puzzle solving game ever! (Yes, it is better than Sudoku!)
One of the games packed in the super value for money Orange Box that makes it all worthwhile. Yes, this comes from me, Miss "What's the point of a game without action, gore and violence?" I will eat humble pie, no, cake, and say Portal completely changed my mind.
Which other game:
- makes you curious about the back story even though there is barely one?
- plays mind games with you and makes you wonder about human behaviour and psychology?
- makes you feel all warm and fuzzy and fall in love with an inanimate cube?
- makes you crave for cake?
- has no male characters at all?
- is purely addictive
- is so short but you are happy you spent a few hours of your precious short life playing it?
- appeals to both casual gamers and hardcore bloodlusty trigger happy gore lovin' gamers?
- has a robotic voice you fall in love with?
- has that robotic voice singing a happy song that makes you laugh and cry?
- makes you happy to finish such a great game and sad that it is all over too soon.
