Met up with a bunch of my ex-colleagues-turned-gal-pal-confidantes today - topics ranged from men to money to maturing. It's amazing how four of us, all about four years apart in age, are going through problems in relationships. Three of us have parted company with the men in our lives within the past six months while only one married is facing problems too. Lesson of the day - even when you think you've found the man of your life, things can and will change.
To those who are pressuring me to go on blind dates, pay for dates (like the exorbitant Lunch Actually - they charge $1,500 for 12 dates!! WTF!! All I need is 12 guy and 12 gal friends for setting up this "service" and I can rorate the genuine singles who sign up with these 24 and soon I can give up my day job!), be more proactive, hang out at singles' hangouts, to stop procrastinating, to beware the ticking biological clock, not to be so "choosy" - I only have one standard answer now:
I DON'T FEEL LIKE IT.
