King Kong
It's late so I'll keep it short. Andy Serkis is amazing as Kong, who'd have thought that the Gollum guy can be so convincing as the big gorilla? Kong's "precioussss", Naomi Watts was somewhat plastic and fail to be as emotive as Serkis. She failed to even make me tear which I often do during movies that portray animals being hurt (Dances with Wolves, Jurassic Park....).
It's a thrilling ride - the scene with the natives terrified me, the bugs really bugged me and the effects astound me.
One question: How much did STB pay them to mention "Singapore" as a location in the Far East?
