Missing Faye
Argh...feel so bad for a German intern who thought she bought a Faye Wong CD but got some strange unknown singer that I've never heard of!! I knew it spelt trouble when she said the title of the CD was "Rain" (cos the Faye that we know never sang a song about rain before...too lyrical for her style and sticks out like a sore thumb among suicidal gems like Doomsday, Love Letter to Myself and Decadence.) Sigh...how can the shopkeeper not know Faye Wong and trick a poor foreigner into buying some non-Faye CD?? These unethical shopkeepers in Chinatown!
Now for some happy news...
Heard that Faye's new album will be out this month!! Woohooo! And I just noticed that Faye and I have something in common! Her birthday is 08/08 and mine is 02/02! Together it makes a meaningful 10/10!! which is...er...probably something really significant in a cosmic sense!!
And here's something completely irrelevant...
Wanted to use this Luke vs Darth smiley for so long but there didn't seem to be an opportunity, so here goes!
