Today is such a weird day....
9:30 AM - Got 2 almost simultaneous calls to my mobile, asking me to stop flooding 2 company phones with my "fixed line Singtel sms" that came from my mobile number. At 9:30 in the morning, my mood can only be described as "rather surly" in printable language. I was totally confused, had no idea what they were talking about, yet they kept insisting I do something about it. My only retort is a weak "wha...? I didn't use my phone, I have no idea whats going on...?" before I called Starhub, who very politely told me it's a really a mystery (!) but they can do nothing about it on their end
. Duh...I can do even less on MY end (except to sit on it)!! In the end , I had to turn my mobile off for some peace and quiet...
9:45 AM - The female version of Shycat near my office kept mewing at me once I walk into the kitchen (did she hear me or smell me???). She mewed at my frontgate yesterday, then moved to the back when I shut the door... Seems like she's taken to hanging around our sunny but cluttered backdoor. She seemed distressed but my anti-cat colleague was around so I couldn't do much. Tried to give her a dish of water, which she wasn't keen on, but just looked at me and blinked and mewed. According to this site, she needs help, but what with???
9:50 AM - Office kitchen sink had no water!! Complained to the landlady, who came over and touched the tap, and guess what..."And there was water"...Grr...did I just become a Sim and some dumbass gamer is fooling around with me?? Get a life, lowlife!!
It doesn't help that I'm kind of paranoid, this day being the infamous Sept 11...were the mobile problems a terrorist attack? Did someone stick a bomb into La Shycat? Did someone cut off our water?
Thankfully the rest of the day is peaceful...so far...
