Note to coffee lovers -
Worst Starbucks joint: Plaza Singapura.
With cold foam for the cuppacino, dirty mugs (with lipstick stains!!) and dirty tables, this is the branch that I will try to avoid in future. For better alternatives, try the Starbucks at Liat Towers, where they actually use a thermometer to test the temperature of the foam and the tables are clean, even on a crowded day. The one at Raffles City isn't bad either but is usually too crowded. A quieter joint for reading or holding meetings is the one at Shaw Towers (where Prince and Jade cinemas are housed). It is usually quite empty and quiet, unless the LAN shop directly opposite is holding some event, or if the Film Festival is being being hosted there.
