Guilty-free shopping at DFS Galleria
Yes I know have not blogged for almost a month. I know I have yet to blog a single word about my trip. But! today's shopping was so much fun I have to write about it! Went with jazkatz to DFS Galleria today because she was looking for a bag and wow! there are so many lovely bags and watches! And I even bumped into my favourite Laneige promoter but then she is now working at Loewe. Yes, she with the cool mono-alphabetical name. Quite a jump from Wisma to DFS Galleria eh! And she still swears by Laniege although she said that it is much cheaper in Korea.

Anyway, there was plenty of cool stuff to be seen in DFS Galleria - service is also much better there and the sales people keep talking to me in Japanese and I was like "Nan desu ka?", "So desu ne!" and "Is-u this learry suede desu ka?"

We sprayed ourselves silly with perfumes (no, I still can't find Escada's Into the Blue anywhere else except Seiyu!) but I resisted becuase I have too many unfinished bottles. We tried on many timepieces and I was wowed by this magnificent Bulgari watch and this adorable but faddish Fendi watch - a limited edition with a cute squirrel. Then on to my favourite accessory - bags!!

It was love at first sight for this dark chestnut suede beauty with tassles from Coach but it's a little bit too showy for everyday use. Likewise for this enchanting iridiscent metallic purple gunslinger's bag from Dior.

So we left DFS empty handed after I recovered from the prices that these things cost. And then we went over to Taka where I fell in love with this dark, large, handsome and hairy duffel. (Pix not available cos somehow the Braun Buffel site uses ALL Flash.) At least it didn't cost me a kingdom and then some, and there was a discount with my Taka card AND I had Taka vouchers so...

I ended up with ze German.
