The Devil Wears Prada
...and her underling wears Iora.
Yes I could totally relate to that film. Now I'm gonna get the book to read on the long flight. Need something light for flights.
The Devil does have redeeming qualities too. Like recognising hard work and effort put into the job. Like giving a strong recommendation. Although it's the day to day that makes you feel so powerless. Like unleashing a long list of work to be done the moment she steps into the office. Like the caustic remarks that can make you tear on the spot. Like the belittling tone that make you feel so small. Like asking for the (near) impossible.
Would things be better when she is gone? Is she just being sacrificed for the tectonic movements of the corporate machinery?
For me, now the Devil wears Polo.

Just hope the devil does not stumble into your blog.... anyway, there is a bit of the devil in all of us. I am sure my team says the same about me behind my back...in their case, the devil wears Iora/OAMC/Giordana...:-P. Have a great vacation, and come back soon! This devil will miss you!
