Online shopping improved!
It's nice to see that effort has been made by SingPost to make online shopping more enjoyable (and no, I'm not a SingPost shareholder). The vPostUSA service allows us in backwater Singapore to buy stuff from US online merchants even if they don't accept international credit cards. And the vPostJapan service also offers the same luxury for Nihon-ese e-merchanto desu. Nice.
Only gripe is that they don't offer some additional discount for us when we buy online - what abt 10% for the first item or something? Cos I have my eye on a cute Franco Sarto bag - somehow grape coloured suede makes my heart flutter, thanks to the love at first sight with the absolutely adorable Salvatore Ferragamo grape suede bag.
Imagine this Salvatore Ferragamo creation in rich grape...yummy...
And here's the Franco Sarto one, not as yummy but at only a fraction of the price!

there's a 20% discount off shipping charges if you charge your vpost bill using a uob card (the discount used to be 15%, but it's now 20% for the the x'mas season!)
