BLONDIE!! Woohoo!! Getting all excited abt seeing them "live"! I've been listening to them non-stop everyday as I commute to and from the Gulag. Bought some of their old CDs too - these are hard to find, but my favourites are still what made them a commercial success: Sunday Girl, Tide is High, Heart of Glass and ATOMIC!
I can't believe that Debbie Harry is 60!! And still a rocker-punkwave chick! When I'm 60, will I be so feisty? I sure hope so!

Anyway, it's also because of the Blondie concert that made me mad with SISTIC. I was supposed to get a 15% discount if I book by 20 Feb, which I did, but I was made to pay the full amount because the offer ended on 19 Feb when the site clearly stated 20 Feb! When I called the hotline, they made some flimsy excuse that concession is only for counter sales and there was NO mention at all about this restriction when I booked online. Scammers!! That's $21 I lost, due to no fault of mine!! Feeling real sore about it since it was clearly their inability to communicate properly that caused me to bleed cash. And the parting advice they give me? "We appreciate your feedback, do send it in and we'll forward it to someone but there's no way you'll get your money back. It's in the terms and conditions you know?! No refunds, cancellations etc once you purchase! Nyeh nyeh nyeh!"
Well, ok, so even though it doesn't do me any good NOR will I get my money back, it's not going to stop me from writing a scathing complaint. Must be good to be a monopoly. It takes them 3 days to handle a complaint, so let's see what happens tomorrow - unless of course they cannot count 3 days properly like they did when they f***ed up the last date of the concession.
