Why I cannot stand going to public healthcare Polyclinics

Went to the polyclinic today for my viral infection, since it was my first time and I was running a fever, I was kind of misguided. Their ISO certified procedure required several "stations"...first you get a number from the front desk, then you are supposed to wait to register at another counter, get another number, then wait again in front of the consultation rooms to see the doctor, then wait to get your medication. I'm supposing the rest of the process since I didn't get past step 2.

Anyway, the registration counter looked like a pharmacist to me...so I mistakenly waited in front of the consultation room for like an hour and really cannot stand it when I asked a wandering nurse why it took so long, and THEN I realised I had to wait to register!! Some ISO certified process...anyway I went to ask at the registration counter but before I can complete my question the mean nurse at the counter took my IC and tag and started typing, despite my repeating my question 3 times "I think I have missed my turn, how do I get another one?" and despite the fact that my tag was wrong.

Suddenly she realised and started standing up and yelling "Can't you see I am calling a patient? Can't you wait? CAN OR NOT?" like I was trying to rob her. So I yelled back "Alright, alright, give me back my IC!! MY IC!!", and I snatched my IC and went back to see my nice and gentle family doctor who was about to leave but was kind enough to see me anyway. They are even kind enough to write me separate receipts for medication and consultation since my "giam siap" (stingy) company refuse to pay for medication. So there...

Moral of the Story: I won't go back to a polyclinic unless I'm destitute. Some people won't pay for good service but I don't take bad service even if it's free. So there.
